Delete your account or data

This page explains how to delete your TrueStyleAI account, or delete some of your data and keep your account. It applies to the TrueStyle Admin and TrueStyle Customer apps and our web applications, which are operated by TRUESTYLEAI LIMITED.

Delete your whole account

  1. Email admin@truestyleai.com from the email address you use to sign in.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
  3. Tell us your name, which app you use (TrueStyle Admin or TrueStyle Customer), and the salon you are connected to.
  4. We will reply to confirm your request. If the email address does not match an account, we may ask you to confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.
  5. We delete your account and the data listed below within 30 days of your request.

If you are salon staff, your salon administrator can also send this request for you.

What we delete

What we keep, and for how long

Records of your visits held by the salon, such as the date, service and barber Kept as the salon’s business records while the salon’s account is active. After that, only where the law requires.
Records we must keep by law, such as financial or tax records Kept only for the period the law requires, then deleted.
Photos a salon has already posted to its own social media with your consent Controlled by the salon, not by us. Ask the salon directly to remove them.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You can ask us to delete any of the following without closing your account:

  1. Email admin@truestyleai.com from the email address you use to sign in.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my data.
  3. List which of the items above you want deleted.
  4. We will reply to confirm your request, and delete those items within 30 days.

Everything else on your account stays as it is. If you previously agreed to let your salon share photos of your haircut, you can withdraw that agreement in the same email.

Stopping notifications

You do not need to delete any data to stop push notifications. Turn them off for the app in your device’s notification settings.
